Formatting Archive Pages : WPThemeBuilder

WPThemeBuilder provides you all kind of flexibility for making your themes unique and beautiful. With out pre-define list of archive styles, now you can create post listing archive pages from simple blogging look to magazine based multi-column archive pages. And all that is very easy, no coding hassle, no need to design anything. Just select an archive style and you got the style!

Using Archive Layout Tab

By default when you load WPThemeBuilder, it creates archive layout in default blogging format with excerpt of your content. You can change that look to different one. (This applies on all kind of archive pages, such as date based archive, category archive, search results page, author page (and even the home page if you didn’t do any customization on home page).

  1. Click on Archive layout to activate the viewport for theme archive pages.
  2. Select different archive styles from the dropdown list to see how they look and feel according to your theme appearance.
  3. Once finished simply go back to other tabs for working on other things.
  4. If you don’t want to give your home page a unique look, then your home page will use the same archiving style you just sleected.
