Customization of your Wordpress Theme’s Home Page
Custom home page is one of the main key features of a premium wordpress theme. Your theme is never said to be premium if its home page can’t be customized from WP-Admin or if it is not in a different look than your other template pages. Another key feature of WPThemeBuilder is that it creates admin panels for almost all of home page widgets. So you can change any setting/text of widgets anytime from WP-Admin of your site.
Enabling Home Page Customization
By default when themebuilder loads, home page customization is not enabled. It displays post lists in similar style like archive pages do have. You have to manually enable home page customization if you want to add widgets, sliders, tabbers on it.
- In WPThemeBuilder, go to Home Page Tab
- Click on Use customized home page to enable home page customization
- If this checkbox is already checked, don’t check it again otherwise it will remove all previously added widgets.
- You’ll see a collection of buttons. These buttons have all the widgets you can add in your home page.
