Multi-level Drop Down Menus for Wordpress

WPThemeBuilder have a feature to add multi-level drop-down menus in your themes without any coding. You can set the type of menu to one of the followings

  1. Page(s) menu : This will display all the pages in a multi-level hierarchical menu.
  2. Categories Menu: This will display all of your blog’s categories in a drop down menu
  3. Configurable from WP-Admin: This is one of the best options in WPThemeBuilder. It will allow you to configure the menu in any order, with any text/link and it can be configured from your Wordpress Admin area. You can add/remove menu items, sort them and change their order of display and delete them. Its totally configurable.

Adding Navigation Menus to Themes …

To add a drop down menu in your wordpress themes,

  1. Go to Addons tab in WPThemeBuilder
  2. Click on Add Drop Down Menu button
  3. A pop-up box will open. It will ask you some information as followed
    1. Menu Style: Select a style and theme of the menu, you can select from a big list of menu styles.
    2. Menu Location: Select the location of your menu (i.e after the header section, before header or before everything). Before everything option will append the menu on top your theme.
    3. Menu type : Select one of (pages menu, categories menu or configurable from WP-Admin)
    4. In case if you select configurable from WP-Admin, you need to name this menu so you can recognize it from WP-Admin.
    5. Another interesting feature: Select the visibility of this menu on home page (Yes/No). If you select NO, it will disable the menu only at home page but keep showing on all other pages.
  4. Once done, simply click on ADD Menu button
  5. Deleting the Menus : If you want to delete a previously added menu, simply double click on it.
