Formatting Footer of your Wordpress Themes
WPThemeBuilder also have a formatting tab for footer. For now, only basic formatting is supported. Such as background colors, text colors, font styles etc. But in future we’ll also be adding footer widgets and making the Footer widgetized for more flexibility and control over your theme footers.
- Click on Footer tab to view all controls that can change the appearance of theme footer.
- You’ll see something like this
- BG Color : Controls the background color of your footer. You can always specify a background color from our color picker or a pre-defined web 2.0 colors table.
- BG Image URL: You can input a URL from an external source or you can also use an image from our media library by clicking the image gallery button right next to input field. In order to upload your own graphics you still need to open media library. There you can find upload image option. See media library for more details.
- Repeat: Use this option to repeat your background image in footer.
- BG Image Position: You can also position your background image in footer. (e.g top left, center left, center right, 50% 50% , 10px 10px etc)
- Footer Width: Footer width is a footer style that will help you to turn your footer into a web 2.0 style footer
Normal(default): The normal styled footer will have width equal to theme container.
Full Width: If you select this option, your footer will occupy full width of screen. No matter how much your theme have width but it will have full screen width. The textual area of footer will still be centered and have width equal to theme container.
- Footer Height: Specify the height of your footer. (must be a number)
- Font Family: Select a font family for footer text and content. In most cases, leave it to “Please select”
- Font Size: Size of the text written in footer.
- Text Color: Color of footer text and all of its content
- Padding, margins, borders : Change these settings that look and feel better for you
- Extra CSS: Add any extra CSS code you want to apply on footer, such as opacity, background attachment or anything else (For advance users)
