Something you may have never experienced before
Sticky post widget : WPThemeBuilder
The sticky post widget will display a post from your blog and it will keep displaying the post at home page until you choose a different post ID or category. There are two ways to display a post in this widget
- A most recent post from a selected category will always be shown in this widget
- Or a post from a given Post ID will always be shown in this widget
This is an admin controlled widget, the setting can be found in theme options page under the name of the widget. There you can configure both of these options. A screenshot of the widget setting panel is shown below. Don’t forget to hit Update widget whenever you want to save changes. Every widget have its own Save button.
Adding a Sticky post widget
- In WPThemeBuilder, go to Home Page tab
- Enable Home page Customization if you did not enabled it already.
- Click on Features/Sticky Post widget button.
- Select the style of this widget or keep the default simple one selected
- Name your widget so you can find it when editing from WP-Admin
- Click on Add Widget and it will be inserted in theme home page area.
- You can also drag and sort this widget among other home page widgets to change its location.
- Once your theme is built, a section for this widget will be created in theme admin page.
